kshama (ksama) (кшама) – прощение (всепрощение).

kundalini (кундалини) – разумная энергия, которая, пробуждаясь, оживляет все оболочки в соответствии с высшими уровнями очищения и различения; «свернувшаяся змеиная сила», дремлющая в муладхара чакре. [Кундалини-шакти – аспект космической творческой энергии, или шакти; современные индийские теоретики йоги соотносят кундалини шакти с движущей силой или энергией эволюции (пер.)]

mahat-Tattwa (mahat-tattva) (махат таттва) – тончайшая и высочайшая материя; космическое начало. [Махат-татва (Абсолютная Таковость) – эпитет сознания, а не материи. От тех же корней происходит центральное положение индуистской духовности Тат Твам аси – Ты есть То (то есть, единое сознание), тождественное принципу атман = Брахман (пер).]

manipura chakra (cakra) (манипура чакра) – пупковый центр, управляет физическим телом, контролирует элемент огня; связан с сознательной эмоциональностью.

manomaya kosha (маномайя коша) – ментально-эмоциональная оболочка (тело).

mantra (мантра) – священная санскритская формула; часто оказывает особое вибрационное воздействие на физическое и тонкие тела.

moksha (moksa) (мокша) – полное духовное освобождение.

mudra (мудра) – жест, имеющий важное духовное значение; позы, воздействующие на кундалини.

pingala (пингала) – канал солнечной энергии, зеркально повторяющий путь канала ида и пересекающий позвоночный канал сушумна в каждой из шести первых чакр.

prana (прана) – энергия жизни; животворное начало в воде, воздухе, и пище.

pranamaya kosha (kosa) (пранамайя коша) – оболочка жизненной энергии, праническое тело.

prana-pran (прана) – течения праны в грудной клетке, связанные с дыханием.

pranayama (пранаяма) – управление дыханием или праной; дыхательные техники.

pranotthana (prana-utthana) – повышенная активность праны, предшествующая пробуждению кундалини.

pratyahara (пратьяхара) – ранняя стадия медитации, на которой происходит сосредоточение внимания, обычно рассеивающегося на сигналы органов чувств и «болтовню ума»

tantra (тантра) – йога привнесения духовного в физическое. [Тантра – зафиксированная в традиционных текстах (тантрах) древняя система философии, космологии, и духовного развития, из которой впоследствии родилась йога. Тантра учит использовать любые аспекты жизни, от самых положительных до самых отрицательных, в качестве средств для духовного роста.
