Относительно тамплиеров на Святой земле не существует исследования, сопоставимого с работой J. Riley-Smith, посвященной госпитальерам. На материале сотни печзтей тамплиеров, найденных в архивах (их репродукции широко представлены в книге), составила типологию печатей храмовников: например, печать с изображением двух рыцарей верхом на одной лошади становится печатью генерального досмотрщика ордена; магистр ордена, сначала в Иерусалиме, затем в Акре, использовал печать с «tuba», которое следует понимать как «купол»: ней был отчеканен купол храма Господа (мечети Омара) – который не принадлежал тамплиерам, но находился по соседству с их главной резиденцией на Храмовой горе, – а не купол храма Гроба Господня (как я ошибочно, мне кажется, написал в книге). Также на печати магистра Франции был выбит купол (несколько иного вида), который, скорее всего, воспроизводил облик часовни ордена Храма в Париже.
