His first virtues are loyalty and bravery. The gravest vices are betrayal and cowardice.
It is necessary to believe firmly here. It is necessary because any conspirator is first of all a free man. Free internally, spiritually. That is, not suffering from dependence on false authorities and other people's opinions. And the one who is free internally cannot be enslaved.
Charles Fourier spoke the truth: unbridled passions are the greatest good given to man. A real communist should not limit himself to anything. If there is no urgent need, of course. The revolutionary is always bursting with emotions unprecedented to the common man. Monstrous thirst for unlimited power, sizzling all the gut with it's heat hatred, addressed to the enemies of the revolution, the irrepressible desire to chop down the supput, the irresistible craving to glorify his own name, forever hovering it on the pages history of world resistance, as well as a boundless desire to do great things and love all the beautiful things.
A revolutionary position is always a hedonistic position. However, here we are not talking about consumer hedonism, but rather about hedonism sublime.
That's how the hedonism of the everyman understands? He talks here in the spirit of the fact that it is necessary to eat three throats, blow wine, sleep with all in a row and so on. This is, of course, a very vulgar understanding of hedonism. But there may be a sublime understanding. That is what anyone among you should possess.
The hedonism of a revolutionary is a constant desire to enjoy life in all it'smanifestations. This is a great pleasure for a person to look at, for example, the snow falling from the sky with large flakes. Or see a walking mouse. And to listen to the splash of river waves, to feel on the face gusts of cold wind, which blows in Moscow usually in the very end of autumn, to observe through the water surface for huge leisurely fish – isn't it all perfect?!
Nature is truly capable of giving man an immeasurable amount of pleasure. But no less than their number can provide and society. Moreover, the pleasures we receive from society are much more complex, and therefore much more interesting than natural pleasures. Agree, what a great happiness, what great bliss – to know true love, true friendship, honest work and many other goodness.
At the very top of this pyramid are political pleasures. Agree that not many things can be compared with the bliss derived from the consciousness that you are now making a socially significant decision. However, even more pleasure is able to deliver a man his own death on the battlefield in the name of the Motherland and freedom. Dulce et decorum pro Patria mori, as Horace wrote.
The Greatest man for a man is joy – it is, without any doubt, the joy of the revolution. Truly, what could be more beautiful than to be excused to your people?
That is why the revolutionary is the happiest man in the world. Everyman will seem incredible, but the rebel is always happy. He gladly for many years endures unbearable hardships and hardships for someone, with a smile on his face goes to prison or ascends to the scaffold. Therefore, lying on the dirty floor of one of the Lefortovo loners, huddled in a puddle of his own blood, feeling like a paltry freak jumping on it, breaking the ribs and destroying it'sinternal organs, realizing that the forces are already leaving him, and therefore the end is near – revolutionary still remains an immensely happy man.
This is true revolutionary hedonism. And the fact that the commoners will be able to understand it is of no interest to us.
But let's get back to business.
Dear comrades, throw away the everyday morality! You'll never need it again. Behave like real aristocrats.
Do not forget that the great teachings of the Bushido ordered the samurai to live as if he were already dead, that is to exist in constant anticipation of death, to be ready to perish at any moment. This attitude to life demanded from the revolutionaries the famous Nechayev's «Catechism…».
This, however, does not exhaust the similarities between ancient Japanese warriors and modern communist rebels. As Yamamoto Tsunetomopointed out in his famous treatise: «The Samurai should be proud of his prowess. He must be determined to die the death of a fanatic». Agree, if you replace in this statement the samurai on the revolutionary – some might consider that the quote belongs to one of the prominent participants of the relevant movement.
But do not think only that in all these pathetic words about death there is at least a little gloom. On the contrary, the same Japanese author makes a correct, deeply life-affirming consequence out of all this: «Indeed, a person's life lasts an instant, so live and do what you want. It's stupid to live in this dream-like world, to face trouble every day and to do only what you don't like.».
This is the same revolutionary hedonism that has already been mentioned before! It is not just that the great Japanese writer Yukio Mishima found the treatising of a genuine moralistic utopia. At the same time, the society living by such laws, he revered much more free and happy than the modern capitalist.
One could, of course, dive even deeper into the study of moral issues. It would be nice here to analyze the ethics of Vikings, Caribbean pirates or Italian mobsters. At the same time, of course, a sufficient number of similarities of this kind of morality with revolutionary ideas about it would be found. However, we are now in a noticeable hurry.
Therefore, let's leave this topic for a while. In conclusion, we would like to advise every Russian insurgent to regularly repeat in his own mind a motto that could well become common to our entire revolutionary movement. Moreover, this motto is very simple. It sounds like this: «Meine Ehre heißt Treue!». Which translates into Russian as follows: «My honor is loyalty!». Loyalty of the revolution, of course.
All the more important questions about this topic are all the same. There's only one second, but still important.
Please let us rid ourselves of one vile word, excessively spread in the Russianleft. This word, of course, – «activists».
Remember, dear friends! Activists are girls who are bailiffs who work in charity. Homeless cats treat. Activists are skateboarders, squatters, frigans, straightedgers, vegans, punks, hardcorers, antifa, greens, and other similar trash. After all, activists are Navalny's hamsters.
We're not activists! We are revolutionaries, insurgents, partisans, militants, terrorists, rebels, gerrilleros, extremists, underground, radicals, conspirators, and mumps and never know, who are also. But for God's sake, not activists!

So you're a young man? Perhaps even a very young one? And you suddenly wanted to follow our example and make a real revolutionary schoolboy? If so, the following chapter is written especially for you. Read, veal, get on. Becoming a New Russian Baader, so to speak.
You'll have to start, the way you re driving, small. It's understandable. In such a time we live that we can only hope for ourselves.
So, if you've decided to create a rebel cell, you just need reliable comrades. You have to get them first. For insurgents, the most valuable resource is always people. Remember that forever. People are the most important thing for us. More precisely, not just people. Random snoots are no good here. What we need is that honest comrades. And such in modern Russia – the cat cried. That's why you should always start with the search for reliable comrades.
We will not consider the question of where, how and when you will find yourself, the number of people who are going to find yourself. Universal, for every case suitable methods here are not. Comrades are not explosives. The latter can be easily made by manual. Finding on the instructions of colleagues – the task is impossible.
It is possible, of course, to begin your search in an already initially politicized environment. In our «A Call...» that was, in fact, recommended. This method is relatively easy, but it also contains some dangers. If a person is already engaged in political activity, it can easily be so that he has long been looked after by agents of special services. This, as you know, could threaten to completely fail the whole case. However, the option is not the worst. You can contact a police provocateur by mistake! It's going to be a disaster.
In general, as far as people are concerned, the ideal option would be as follows. You're looking for some absolutely third-party people. We need people here that you don't seem to have anything in common with. And if you are, for example, a Moscow schoolboy, then the ideal comrade for you will be a Lipetsk worker. At the same time, all those third-party people we are talking about must be completely clean. None of them should sully themselves participate in political activities. And not only in the opposition, but in general in any. These pureest people you do with your terrorist propaganda, and then you recruit them to your organization.
That's the perfect option. We hope, and without our comment, you will be clear to what extent it is realistic.
Of course, above the ideal ideal, a large proportion of people should be laughed. However, you always have to remember that many, many of our comrades go to prison solely because they were unclear about their own contacts. On many of today's politinal prisoners, never even had a shadow of suspicion, whether they were only less known in certain circles.
Therefore, in fact, it would be much better to recruit people to the organization not from the left, but from some other. Of course, such a case can take a long time. If you are looking for people among the leftists, then some of the ideological work with them has already been done by someone for you. If we are talking about apolitical citizens from the very beginning, then here you personally have to plant a communist worldview.
However, as we said earlier, we should not take the advice given by us as dogma. After all, that the personnel of an organization is always a unique resource. People are not balusols. Honest comrades, fit for our work, can meet you almost everywhere. Long-term practice shows that neither class, nor occupation, much less education – do not play a decisive role here.
That is, of course, when we talk about large human communities, then these factors of influence will have the greatest influence. But if we are talking about a particular person, their importance weakens many times. Here personal, individual qualities will come first. That's what we should talk about!
