  PUTIN IS GOING TO HITLER

  ANNOTATION

  So Dmitry Medvedev at that time showed common sense. And perhaps this was one of the few wise decisions he made.

  But the war with Ukraine also seemed relatively easy. So the troops of the Slavic brother showed themselves very poorly in the battles of 2014 and the winter of 2015, and of course, the impression was that the enemy was a zero warrior.

  Well, on the contrary, about the Russian army, especially after Syria, exaggerated ideas. Like, we are technologically the most powerful in the world. And throw hats on everyone.

  It seems that many would think so if they were Putin. And probably the Americans were not cunning when they said that the Russian army could take Kyiv in three days. They also apparently thought that Russia was too strong, and Ukraine was weak. But... Already in the very first days, selected Russian units suffered heavy losses and it became clear that the blitzkrieg had failed.

  The war went on, not as he wanted. Perhaps peace should have been made, especially in the first month of the war, when there were the greatest successes. But, of course, I wanted more. Then the losses increased. And then at the end of August and autumn, the Ukrainians achieved tangible successes on the battlefields. They knocked out Russian troops from the Kharkov region and partly Lugansk and recaptured Kherson and the territory beyond the Dnieper. At that time, the Ukrainians did not want another world, some like a return to the borders of 1991.

  I had to declare mobilization and transfer additional troops. And in the winter to try again, to advance ...

  Vladimir Putin is a stubborn person. Although history teaches that stubbornness can be extremely dangerous. For example, Hitler could have at least partially preserved his regime, and maybe his own skin, if he had gone to peace earlier. Here Hirohito was able to save his life, and even his imperial title, even if he lost real power. And the possessed Fuhrer lost everything. You can remember Ivan the Terrible!   Here, of course, serious problems arise. It would be much easier to hit Hitler a little earlier, before the attack on the USSR. Few people know that the Fuhrer had plans for this as well. T-35 is a real monster – three guns, seven machine guns, five towers. But this tank cannot turn. And the armor of as many as five towers is unimportant.

  Tanks of the BT series – on the one hand, they seem to be good: the speed is almost a hundred kilometers per hour on the highway. But in a real battle, a column of tanks will still not be able to go. And the armor is weak, and even anti-tank guns can penetrate such a machine. In addition, the tank still has large tanks of gasoline, it can be taken out of action by shots of a heavy machine gun. Yes, not really this car. The most massive T-26 tank with a 45 mm cannon was inferior to the German T-3 in both armament and armor, and was close in driving performance.

  On the whole, of course, the USSR was perhaps stronger in tanks, but the production of the latest cars and aircraft was just being promoted, and they had barely begun to enter the troops. The latest aviation was not yet mastered, and tanks, too. Moreover, the technical documentation for the latest Soviet tanks was not issued to the commanders. And as a result, before the war, the KV and T-34 vehicles were not run in. And the Germans somehow didn"t notice the new thirty-fours. But on the other hand, the Germans already have more than twice as many cars and motorcycles. And the Wehrmacht has more submachine guns. Plus her temporary superiority in infantry. This is true, because Germany had previously carried out a general mobilization. But still attack the Third Reich, losing in personnel? This is idiotic!

  True, Putin himself did just that with Ukraine. But maybe that's why he messed up.

  But there are two big differences here. The Ukrainian army, which could not defeat some militias in 2014, was not considered a serious fighting force by anyone – even the Americans. And the Wehrmacht captured Europe in two months – there is a big difference. Even a very big difference.

  The authority of the Ukrainian army was very low before the war, and maybe that's why the usually cautious Vladimir Putin decided on this adventure. Plus, China secretly gave the go-ahead. But already in the very first days it became clear that the blitzkrieg did not pass. And the losses, especially in the elite units, are huge.

  Indeed, there is some invisible force that destroys all empires. Since the time of King Xerxes, probably the first real, huge empire of the ancient world. The Great Power of Alexander the Great also turned out to be short-lived. Rather, it fell apart a few years after the death of this king.

  Even earlier, Egypt waged wars of conquest, but also lost possession. You can remember Assyria. It was also quite a big power. Well, Babylon of the time of Nebuchadnezzar, although not for long. The empire of Genghis Khan itself is the largest land power of the times of mankind. But Genghis Khan died, and her sons and grandsons began to crush her. And then, having reached Africa to Vienna, the Mongol-Tatars ran out of steam and collapsed again. Tamerlane tried to restore this empire with fire and sword, but as soon as he died, his Timurat eve fell into bliss without a trace.

  The largest in terms of population and territory in the history of mankind was, perhaps, the British Empire with colonies and dominions. But it also fell apart pretty quickly. And there was also the Spanish colonial empire, which crumbled even earlier.

  Tsarist Russia, having reached its peak under the reign of Nicholas II, collided with Japan. And as if to confirm the fact that there is an anti-imperial force, the tsarist troops lost this war. And as if evil fate pursued them. There were so many failures and bad luck in that war, from beginning to end. So do not believe after that in the fate of all powers.

  Then, in the First World War, it was not very lucky, and there was a military, and rather even a palace coup. After that, an illegitimate interim government came to power.

  Well, and then the Bolsheviks with the civil war. Well, yes, under Stalin there was a new rise of the empire, but at the cost of huge bloodshed. And after the death of the leader, the twentieth congress and the collapse of the cult took place. And the USSR began to lose its positions already under Khrushchev.

  And then Gorbachev took and finished off the Soviet empire. Moreover, it cannot be said that Mikhail Sergeevich did it on purpose. Then everyone was engulfed in the frenzy of perestroika. And personally, Vladimir Putin, although a KGB officer, has turned into an ardent democrat. And he was against the GKChP, and also rejoiced at the collapse of the CPSU. The population of the USSR decreased to 170 million. And under the tsar-father Nicholas II, in 1914 it already amounted to 180 million people.   Counting from the Kursk Bulge, where the Germans last tried to launch a major strategic offensive and turn the tide of the war by seizing the initiative, it took Stalin only nine months to recapture Ukraine and Crimea.   Yes, Stalin's hands were covered in blood up to the elbow. And in the Third Reich, Jews have not yet been massively killed, and large-scale punitive actions have not been carried out.

  So there was no particular reason to avoid meeting in person. But the war of two totalitarian empires could well have been prevented. And maybe the world on planet Earth would be different.

  The USSR, Germany, Italy and Japan could divide the whole world. And given that the conquered need to be mastered for a long time, perhaps there would be no wars in the history of mankind, at least for the next hundred years.

  However, now Putin in the body of Hitler has a chance to personally meet with Stalin and talk. Of course, there will be some problems, but they are likely to be resolved.

  Although the question is, how much land to demand from Stalin? It is simply impossible and unrealistic to go to zero when you have already managed to grab so much.

  The second point – to declare a truce immediately, or first to achieve new successes? Still not the peak yet. In the Crimea, Kerch has not yet been taken, and in the south, Rostov-on-Don. And not all Donbass is still under the control of the Germans. And so on...

After all, fighting Britain for Putin is a great pleasure. For starters, you should see what reserves Germany has. Perhaps something can be taken from the territory of France, and the Balkans.
